Payment Options in the Webshop

All prices of products sold via www.ByNova.ca are inclusive of VAT.

How can I pay in the webshop? You can choose from multiple payment methods at By Nova. We offer the following payment options in the webshop:

  • Pay with Bancontact
  • Pay with Credit Card (American Express, MasterCard, Maestro, and VISA)
  • Pay with Sofort Banking

How can I pay with a Credit Card? You can pay for your order in the webshop using the following Dutch credit cards: VISA, American Express, and MasterCard. When choosing this payment method, enter the credit card number, the exact name on the card, the expiration date, and the 3-digit CVC code (the last three digits on the back of your card) on the payment page.

To protect your data, it is fully encrypted and sent via SSL servers, thus secured against third-party access. Your credit card payment is authorized at the time of the order. It is possible that contact will be made with the cardholder to prevent fraud.

The amount will only be charged after the order has been delivered. If it's not possible to deliver the entire order, only the amount for the part of the order that has actually been delivered will be charged.

 

How can I pay with Sofort Banking? By Nova offers the option to pay with Sofort Banking. Sofort Banking is essentially an online transfer using your internet banking details. In the secure payment page of Sofort GmbH, you log in with your trusted internet banking login details. Then select the bank account you want to pay with. Next, enter the confirmation code and click next. You will then see a confirmation of your order in our webshop.

Safe Payment

Is shopping at ByNova.ca safe? Shopping at By Nova is very safe. To protect your data, it is fully encrypted and sent via SSL servers, thus secured against third-party access. This means that your personal information is encrypted and cannot be viewed by others.

We comply with all the rules of privacy legislation and all other legal requirements. And we never give your personal information to third parties without your permission.

Ordering

Will I receive a confirmation of my order? Every completed order is confirmed by email with an order confirmation.

What can I do if I encounter problems during payment? If it's not possible to proceed to payment, while you have already placed the product in your shopping cart and created an account, we advise you to clear your browser history (see the top right corner of the internet browser, history, clear history). After this, you can put the product back in your shopping cart and proceed to payment.

Can I cancel an order? This is only possible by emailing info@ByNova.ca before 5:00 PM on the same day of the order with your name, order number, and order date. It's possible that your order is already being processed, in which case you can only cancel the order by returning the package.

Service & Warranty

If the product shows a defect that was not visible at the time of purchase, you must report this to us within a reasonable time after discovering the defect. If, in the opinion of By Nova, the product indeed has defects (that are not due to normal wear, misuse, and/or failure to perform maintenance), By Nova will repair or replace the product within a reasonable period specified by By Nova. During this repair, you have no right to a replacement product or any form of compensation. If, in the opinion of By Nova, repair is not possible, or cannot be expected from By Nova considering the costs of this repair, By Nova will offer a comparable replacement product. If this is not possible, we will refund the purchase price.

If the instructions given by By Nova are not followed, or if you have used the product incorrectly or have not performed maintenance on the product, you have no right to any form of repair, replacement, or compensation. Also, the possibility to invoke any form of warranty expires if the product has been processed.

Damage to the following watch parts: the glass, the strap, the crown/stem, and the battery are not covered by the factory warranty. However, the factory warranty does not affect the statutory warranty to which the consumer is entitled. Statutory warranty means that a product must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it.
